Canada’s Finest Tea Experiences

Where Elegance Meets Every Cup

1. Fairmont Empress — Victoria, British Columbia

Few places embody the spirit of high tea quite like the Fairmont Empress, a national treasure perched on Victoria’s Inner Harbour. Since 1908, it has welcomed royalty, celebrities, and tea lovers alike to its grand Lobby Lounge.

What to expect:
Delicate pastries, freshly baked scones, and the Empress’s signature blend of black tea served in fine china. The setting — sunlight streaming through tall windows, live piano, and fresh florals — is pure magic.

Perfect for: an elegant girls’ getaway, milestone birthday, or simply a moment of self-care done in style.

Tip: Reserve well in advance and request a table by the window for the best harbor views.

2. Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise — Alberta

Nestled in the Canadian Rockies, the Chateau Lake Louise offers a breathtaking backdrop for afternoon tea. Imagine savoring warm scones and clotted cream while overlooking turquoise waters and snow-kissed peaks.

What to expect:
A refined yet cozy menu featuring finger sandwiches, local honey, and pastries inspired by the seasons. This is where nature meets elegance — a true alpine retreat with impeccable service.

Perfect for: girls weekends, bridal parties, or anyone craving a luxury moment in the mountains.

3. Fairmont Banff Springs — Alberta

Known as “Canada’s Castle in the Rockies,” the Fairmont Banff Springs transforms high tea into an event. Enjoy delicate treats, warm hospitality, and panoramic mountain views from Rundle Lounge.
